Thunderstruck Farms
Welcome to Thunderstruck Farms. We take pride in breeding and training quality Paint and Quarter Horses that will excel in cutting, reining, ranch and cowhorse events. Together we bring over 40 years of equine experience into our unique breeding/training program. Jeff is a professional farrier and specializes in starting his colts with thorough ground training, then continue on with ranch horse training, trails, cow and reined work. We believe every horse should know this as their basic training. By the fall of their 2 year old year, our colts are ready to progress into their specialized training for the cutting, reining or reined cowhorse futurities.

We hand picked some very well bred mares to breed to our stallion, Slinky Little Jewel AQHA. Our broodmares are loaded with Doc O' Lena, Peppy San Badger, Jewels Leo Bars, Doc's Oak, Doc's Sug and Chickasha bloodlines.
Foals with this unique cross, have the mind, conformation and trainability needed for today's cutting, reining, working cowhorses and ranch horse events.

Midwest Horse Science
The Midwest Horse Science Program, Inc. (MHSP) is designed to help individuals learn and develop their horsemanship skills in a safe and supportive environment. All classes and courses are offered by head instructor Tricia Brown, Certified American Riding Instructor. The MHSP offers several classes to accommodate various riders of all skill levels. Youth classes range from beginners through advanced, and is suitable for ages 8 and up. Adults have a variety of classes to choose from. New riders can enroll in the Adult Beginner class. Individuals that own their own horse, and want to improve their horse/human relationship, can sign up in the MHSP Novice course and advance into the MHSP Intermediate course. Here students learn about horse's natural instincts, training, problem solving and horse care. The MHSP Balanced Riding classes are available to people who want to improve their balance, awareness, and encourage clearer communication between the horse and themselves. Systematic skill levels are developed for all classes to allow students to build their education in a structured manner. Our student's success is not based on their skill levels or "phases" passed, but on their development of patience, understanding and love for the horse. We welcome you to join our "unique systematic program" and look forward to working with you.
